Our founder, a descendant of Puerto Rico and soon to be mother of two, has always loved baking. Her first instrument was an easy bake oven which she used to deliver treats to her neighbor friend undergoing cancer treatment.
Seeing the positive influence of her baking, she spent her teenage years channeling herself into her baking. Ever since, she has loved to bring her creations to family events and gatherings, using her treats as a way to bring people together.
Finally in July 2020, she decided to start Senora Pastries, utilizing the nickname her family had been calling her for years “Senora.” As a mother of color, she wanted to show her children that women belong in business, following their passions. She creates each treat by hand and to order so she is able to put love into every bite.
